The ECITB - MJI 10 Hand Torque of Flanged Joints training course focuses on the industry best practice to ensure a leak free joint using hand torque bolted connection techniques, following the ECITB 4 Stage model to competence.

Course topics include:

• Health and Safety (Hazards/Risks

• Principles of Bolting (Bolt Stress/Strain)

• Flanges and Joints

• Fasteners

• Gaskets

• Bolt Tightening sequences and patterns

• Break out and Inspection

• Torque Tightening

This course can be delivered both in our Blyth Campus HQ and at a clients site upon request.

Prerequisites:

• Form of Photograph ID which should be presented upon beginning of training course
