The aim of the Hazardous Energy Basic Safety Training module of GWO BTT, is to prepare participants to work safely whilst in the vicinity of hazardous energies in the wind industry and be able to perform assigned tasks safely.

The course provides knowledge on areas such as:

  • Control of Hazardous Energies,

  • Mechanical, Electrical and Pressure Fluid Safety.

  • Lock out, Tag out

Prerequisites:

  • Form of Photo ID should be produced before beginning of the course

Target Audience:

  • Any individual who will work within the proximity of Hazardous Energies inside of a Wind Turbine Environment
