GWO first aid

LOCATION : Blyth

DURATION : 1 day |0.5 day refresher

DETAILS : 

This course makes up 1/5 of the GWO BST modules and can be taken as an initial module or as a refresher.

The training involves teaching how to recognise signs and symptoms of life threatening situations and administer safe and effective first aid in a Wind Turbine Environment.  

Target Audience: New entrants to the offshore wind industry, Refresher is available to be taken over 0.5 days for those wishing to refresh current GWO BST 

Prerequisites: 

• WINDA ID. [Click here to register if you haven’t already] 

• Maximum participant weight of 125kg.  

• Good standard of fitness and ideally passed an OGUK or similar medical and Chester Step fitness test. We offer onsite medicals at our Blyth training centre - click here to book this alongside your course.
