The course is design for anyone looking to take the next step in their offshore career or looking to take a step towards a career in offshore wind.   

Providing a foundation/entry level knowledge of OTDR testing within a wind farm setting, the courses aims to show good working practices that will provide a robust & reliable method of testing, equipping the learner with a solid foundation which in turn they can develop with time and onsite experience. 

Includes full setup of the OTDR, internally and externally, with the purpose of giving the participant the knowledge to conduct the following tests unaided: 

·       Divot 

·       Uni-directional 

·       Bi-directional

Target Audience:

 New entrants into the industry and those with basic experience in fibre optics.
