What Is Green Energy?

Green energy comes from natural sources that won't run out — like wind, sun, and water. Unlike fossil fuels, it doesn't produce harmful emissions, which means it's better for the planet and for the people living on it.

Offshore wind is one of the UK's biggest green energy success stories. The UK already has more offshore wind capacity than any other country in the world — and we're just getting started.

Renewable energy sources — wind, solar, tidal, bioenergy

Is Offshore Wind Safe?

Yes — and here's why safety is taken so seriously.

Safety is the number one priority across every wind farm in the world

All offshore workers must complete GWO certified training before going near a turbine

Strict rules, procedures, and PPE are standard — hard hats and harnesses always provided

You work as part of a team, never alone offshore

GWO training is renewed every 2 years, keeping skills current

Industry-standard emergency procedures and drills are routine

"You are never sent offshore unprepared."
